Twins part ways with GM Terry Ryan, where do they go from here?

The Minnesota Twins have parted ways with GM Terry Ryan and the future of their organization is very much up in the air. In recent years, the Twins have been criticized for their inability to develop homegrown talent.

The next GM will inherit the third ranked minor league system (according to MiLB.com, at the start of the season) with five Top 100 prospects and a stud in Byron Buxton. With 25 players on the 40 man roster under the age of 28, the small market team will need to develop their own to compete in the increasingly competitive AL Central.
